Once upon a time, long ago, a small fig tree sapling was planted as a food source for the first settlers of Kangaroo Island. Now, 120 years later, its colossal gnarled limbs and shimmering leaves have formed an enchanting dining location. On arrival you will be welcomed by your host with a Kangaroo Islands Spirits cocktail and a selection of canapes. You will then be invited to venture through the leafy entrance of our majestic old fig tree where it will open up into a collection of natural ‘living’ rooms, each decked out with stunning table settings ready for you to experience a magical feast of the senses. “Some say it’s a magic tree – on certain days when the wind blows and the dappled light shine through, sweet music can be heard…” Inspired by fig mythology, the island location, sea, land and earth – our chef Stephanie Vass has handcrafted a special menu that includes a hint of local history, a splash of fairy tale, and a sprinkle of the unexpected!
Redeeming customers within the venue will be required to produce proof of identification at the time of redeeming the Gift Card. If the redeeming customer is unable to provide identification the venue may elect to not accept the Gift Card as payment until the redeeming customer is able to do so. Gift A Restaurant Gift Cards are non-refundable. Gift A Restaurant Gift Cards are treated as cash and cannot be replaced if lost or stolen. Gift A Restaurant Gift Cards expire 36 months after issue. Gift A Restaurant Gift Cards may only be used for purchases at the specifically listed venue/s on the Gift Card and cannot be returned or exchanged for cash. You can redeem up to $1000 in Gift A Restaurant Gift Cards, per table in the venue. Gift A Restaurant Gift Cards may not be re-sold or bartered for cash. Gift A Restaurant and the specified venue reserve the right to change any of the terms contained in these Terms and Conditions at any time where the change is required.
